Albron

Albron is a small settlement, directly attached to the monastery of Va’ariel. Originally, only a few workers lived here, who supplied the monastery and the neighboring town of Varengrad, but little by little some farmers moved there. Not least because of the new, idyllic tavern by the lake with a bathhouse.

Since then, the small village continues to grow and gradually the region became more and more famous for the export of high quality goods, especially wine from the Corvëaux winery.

The buildings

The buildings are in the typical style of the island and rather functional. The villagers are characterized by agriculture.

In the upper part, the harvested grain is processed directly in one of the two mills, there is a stonemason, as well as a carpenter and hunter.

Everywhere you can find small fields, mostly cultivated with wheat.
