The best wine comes from the small vineyard Corvëaux on a mountain above the town of Varengrad. The winery is known for its “Melano”, a strong and at the same time mild wine. Hmm.
Building
Besides the main house, the production, the wine cellar and the surrounding vineyards, there is also a small greenhouse on the property. The herbs grown there, give the wine the special touch.
History
Today, the vineyards are still managed by the Corvëaux family, but they live in the nearby village of Albron, and rent the top floor to travelers.
Guests can enjoy both light and hearty meals in the attached restaurant while tasting one of the excellent vintages and looking over the port city of Varengrad.
