Doërviel was founded 134 years ago because of the mine in the south of the village. Today, only a few residents still work there, but the families have remained. No wonder. The view of the town of Varengrad and the sea make this place an idyll.
The buildings
In the small village there is a tavern and several small stores. Especially the potion maker is known nationwide, but also the cider from the apple orchard located here is served especially in Oclaïre with pleasure.
There is a small village square with a resident hunter.
The mine that was responsible for the founding of the village is now only partially in operation after an explosion that unfortunately killed some of the workers.
The structures are somewhat more robustly built from the influences of the nearby sea.
Right on the waterfront lives the fisherman who is said to catch the best fish on the island. If you want to try it, you can find it on the menu of the tavern in the village.
