Varengrad is a port city on the west coast of Va’ariel. All ships arriving in Vlethwëin from the known world land in Varengrad.
History
Varengrad was founded in 627 p.A. (=post adventum = after the arrival of the first settlers) by Dorendo from Varen.
Buildings
The name of the city comes from the castle that rises above the city. You can find everything your heart desires in Varengrad, from various handcraft businesses to a distinct nightlife in some bars and establishments.
Especially in the harbor area there is always a hustle and bustle. There are some residential buildings for the wealthy population but also simpler buildings for the workers.
A market has settled in the church square, offering fresh produce throughout the week.
